Join us for fun-filled Art workshop days of art creation in our fun, bright art studio located opposite to Ranch At Brushy Creak and Avery Ranch housing communities in Austin, TX!
Students create a variety of art work, learn drawing skills, paint with watercolors and/or acrylics, trying out mixed media techniques and creating 3D sculptures with plasticine!
Workshops in this program are designed for building specific skills in students. Workshops are offered over the course of several days. We want the kids to gain the experience of a true studio artist. In these workshops, designed for younger kids (ages 6-15), projects are geared to Building Confidence, Learning various perspectives, Developing hand eye coordination, and most importantly, Having lots of fun!

They will learn perfecting basic shapes and then using the shapes and colors to build characters and express emotions. Additionally, there will be focus on improving draftsmanship, drawing 3D shapes, use of lights, colors and shading to express emotions.

The focus is on the thought process around the drawing, scaling, proportion and ways of correcting the art. Furthermore, kids will work on building visual archetypes, story structure and conflict. We will also cover capturing the emotions using body language and expressions.
During the course of the workshop, kids will get offline work to help them practice what they have learned. All the while when working on drawing their favorite character.

How to “Not Think” is as important as how “To Think”. Furthermore, we will learn how to loosen up and draw boldly to capture the gestures. Our eyes express a lot of emotion. We will review and practice eye emotions. We will finish with flip animation and Cinematic storyboards.
